Quality Line RATP Group was the trading name of the bus division of the independent Epsom Coaches, and operated throughout the South West London and Surrey area, with many under contract to Transport for London and Surrey County Council.

History

On 20 April 2012 Epsom Coaches was taken over by the RATP Group.

Quality Line was part of Epsom Coaches until in 2017, RATP Group closed the coach division and Quality Line was brought under their management.

On 3 July 2021, the Quality Line subsidary and its only constitutient garage, Epsom (EB), was closed.

The last routes Epsom garage operated were London bus routes 413 and S1, whose contracts were terminated early when the garage closed.

History

On 11 October 1997, Quality Line commenced operating route S1.

On 15 November 1997, Quality Line commenced operating routes 413 and S4.

On 25 July 1998, Quality Line commenced operating route 404.

On 7 December 1998, Quality Line commenced operating route S5.

On 8 April 2000, Quality Line commenced operating route S3.

On 1 December 2001, route 413 passed back to London General.

On 1 March 2002, route S5 was withdrawn.

On 19 July 2003, Quality Line commenced operating routes 293 and 470.

On 30 June 2007, Quality Line commenced operating routes 406 and 418.

On 30 August 2008, route 293 passed to Metrobus.

On 2 October 2010, Quality Line commenced operating routes 411 and 641.

On 3 September 2011, Quality Line commenced operating route 467.

On 2 July 2011, Quality Line commenced operating route K5.

On 14 April 2012, Quality Line commenced operating route X26.

On 30 June 2012, Quality Line commenced operating route 465.

On 15 November 2014, route S4 passed to Abellio London.

On 2 April 2016, Quality Line commenced operating route 633.

On 3 December 2016, Quality Line recommenced operating route 413.

On 15 April 2017, route X26 passed back to Metrobus.

In June 2017, as part of a restructure of RATP's operations, Epsom Coaches ceased trading with the remaining operations and continued under the Quality Line brand. It was brought under the same management as RATP's other London operations, London United and London Sovereign.

On 30 September 2017, route 641 was withdrawn.

On 1 September 2018, Quality Line recommenced operating route 293.

On 24 November 2018, the operation of route 411 was transferred from this garage to London United.

On 25 January 2020, the operation of route K5 was transferred from this garage to London United.

On 25 April 2020, the operations of routes 406, 418 and 465 were transferred from this garage to London United.

On 27 February 2021, the operation of route S3 was transferred from this garage to London United.

On 3 April 2021, route 633 passed to Metrobus.

On 8 May 2021, route 463 passed to Metrobus.

On 19 June 2021, the operations of routes 293, 404, 467 and 470 were transferred from this garage to London United.

On 3 July 2021, the Quality Line RATP subsidary and Epsom (EB) garage were closed. At the same time, route 413 passed back to London General and route S1 passed to Metrobus.
