London Buses route 631 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Golders Green and Henrietta Barnett School, it is operated by Metroline.
History[]
Route 631 commenced operation on 20 May 2013 between Golders Green and Henrietta Barnett School via Finchley Road - Hoop Lane - Meadway Gate - Meadway - Bigwood Road. The route was initially operated by Arriva The Shires from their Watford (GR) garage using Optare Solos. The route was introduced to replace route H1.
On 1 January 2016, the Arriva group restructured its bus operations, which included the transfer of route 631 from Arriva The Shires to Arriva London.
On 9 June 2018, the route passed to Metroline operating their Cricklewood (W) garage using Optare Solos on loan from Arriva London.
On 19 September 2018, the Optare Solos on loan from Arriva London were replaced by brand new Optare Solo SRs.
