London Buses route 603 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Muswell Hill and Swiss Cottage, it is operated by Metroline.
History[]
Route 603 commenced operating on 10 January 2004 between Muswell Hill and Swiss Cottage via Archway and Hampstead. The route was initially operated by Metroline from their Holloway (HT) garage using Plaxton President bodied Dennis Tridents.
On 10 January 2009, the route was retained by Metroline.
On 11 January 2014, the route was retained by Metroline with Alexander Dennis Enviro 400s introduced.
From 25 August 2018 until 31 August 2018, a Yutong E10 demonstrator was trialled on the route.
On 12 January 2019, the route passed to Sullivan Buses operating from their South Mimms (SM) garage using existing Alexander Dennis Enviro 400s.
On 13 January 2024, the route passed back to Metroline operating from their Holloway (HT) garage using existing MCV eVoSeti bodied Volvo B5LHs.
