London Buses route 414 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Putney Bridge and Marble Arch, it is operated by London Transit.

History

Route 414 commenced operating on 23 November 2002 between Maida Vale Elgin Avenue and Fulham High Street via Edgware Road - Marble Arch - Park Lane - Hyde Park Corner - Knightsbridge - Brompton Road - South Kensington - Fulham Road - Fulham Broadway. It was initially operated by First London from their Westbourne Park (X) garage using Plaxton President bodied Dennis Tridents.

On 14 June 2003, the route was extended from Fulham High Street to Putney Bridge Station.

On 29 January 2005, the route was rerouted at Clifton Gardens, Edgware Road to Maida Hill via route 6.

On 21 November 2009, route 414 passed to Abellio London operating from their Battersea (QB) garage with brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro400s introduced.

On 22 November 2014, the route was retained by Abellio London.

On 13 November 2021, the route passed to Tower Transit, operating from their Westborne Park (X) garage, using existing Alexander Dennis Enviro 400Hs, at the same time the route was withdrawn between Marble Arch and Maida Vale.

On 11 December 2021, the route was included in the sale of Tower Transit's Westbourne Park (X) Garage to London Transit.
