London Buses route 115 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between East Ham and Aldgate, it is operated by Blue Triangle.

History

Route 115 commenced operation on 18 September 1999 between Aldgate Bus Station and East Ham White Horse via Commercial Road - Stepney - Limehouse - East India Dock Road - Poplar - Canning Town - Plaistow - Upton Park - Barking Road. The route was initially operated by Stagecoach East London from their Upton Park (U) garage using Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Tridents. Route 115 is a renumbering of Route 15B.

On 30 August 2003, the route was retained by Stagecoach London and an evening service was introduced.

On 30 August 2006, the route was included in the sale of Stagecoach East London to Macquarie Bank trading as East London.

On 18 July 2009, the allocation was transferred to West Ham (WH) garage.

On 28 August 2010, the route was retained by East London and the allocation moved back to Upton Park (U) garage.

On 14 October 2010, the route was included in the sale of East London to Stagecoach London.

On 17 September 2011, Upton Park (U) garage was announced closed and the allocation moved back to West Ham (WH) garage.

On 2 January 2016, the route was temporarily withdrawn between Stepney & Aldgate during ongoing works and disruption in Aldgate. It was restored to Aldgate on 30 April 2016.

On 26 August 2017, the route passed to Blue Triangle operating from their River Road (RR) garage using brand new Enviro 400 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E40Hs.

On 17 July 2021, the allocation was trasnferred to Henley Road (DS) garage.
